water fight!!

Everyone loves Shrinky Dink! The kids traced their hands, colored them with color pencil on shrinky dink (plastic) we baked them, and then put pin backs on, for gifts for mother's day.

Mundo Lindo has a future!
On May 31 Mundo Lindo will celebrate ONE YEAR! That's twice a week, every single week for the past year. Many of the kids have been with me for the whole year. You're invited to reception, at Escondido Children's Museum on Saturday, May 31 from 11am-1pm. We'll showcase some of the kids work and pat ourselves on the back for our accomplishments. AND, we'll celebrate that the generous and smart Picerne Foundation has given me another year grant to continue Mundo Lindo just as it is. Free to 4th and 5th grade Escondido kids. Fabulous news for everyone! Registration starts now for the Summer session which begins June 3/5.
