For this project, I printed out pictures of all different kinds of robots and put them on the wall for reference. Then I asked the kids to draw 5 different robots, of their own creation. Julian drew this robot and then explained to me what the robot was made of and how it would be assembled. In other words, he drew something that he'd just build in his imagination. Very cool. Julian is 10 years old

Clever clever. She created a pie out of clay, then added orange feathers on the top and called it a pumpkin pie!

I brought in little artificial birds and we drew and painted them, then made little books. The suns are wooden, that we glued to the cover.

Most of the kids didn't know what tie dye was, so here they are watching the first 3 kids squirt the dye on the shirts. 11 kids in class today. Thanks to Susie and my husband for helping out!
ECM gave us these paper model cars, and the kids put them together. I love that Brian made a surfer and surf board for his.
