The project took longer than I expected and no one finished, but the good news was they wanted to work on them again next week. This was a challenging project for the kids!

I brought in a pattern of a funny looking dog from this book and the kids chose the fabric, cut out the pattern and began handstitching the pieces together.

Here's Julian's pages. Then he assembled them into a book, with a cover.


Victoria's story had the Titanic in it, but the ending was changed from the original!

Jaime, working on his story. First a pencil storyboard, then to watercolor paper and pen and paint. The kids had to put themselves in the story, and it could be true or made up.
