Don't try this at home! Collage with magazines is the best, but you need room to spread out.
We traced the kids profiles, and then they cut them from cereal boxes to create book covers.
They cut pages from different colors of construction paper. Since, they were creating a "Book of Me" they cut out images that represented them..or stuff they liked...or colors...or whatever, and collaged inside the book.
Notice the giraffe?

I think what is happening here is absolutley fantastic - what great artists. I was going to say artists in the making but they are already!
